Museum to Feature New Jewelry Workshop

The Janice mason Art Museum is delighted to offer a jewelry making workshop lead by Penny Oakley.  Penny has been making beautiful jewelry for years and is willing to share her knowledge and skills with us.  The workshop will be held on Tuesday and Thursday November 19 and November 21, at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the museum.  The fee for the four-hour workshop is $25.00 for members and $30.00 for non-members.  Please call the museum at 522-9056 to register before November 15.

Participants will receive a supply list.  One of the items needed is beads for the jewelry you plan to make.  Those interested in taking the class will have the opportunity to go to Nashville as a group, November 16, to teh Interglactic Bead Show to purchase beads.  We will car pool and leave the museum at 8:00 a.m. You may purchase beads that are relative inexpensive or select special beads made of higher quality materials.  It is entirely up to your.  Some of teh participants will need to be prepared to drive their vehicles.  You do not have to go on the trip in order to take the class, materials may be obtained from a craft store.
