Folk Art & Craft Exhibit

The Janice Mason Art Museum with the Lakeland Artisans Guild will present the Trigg County Folk Art and Craft Exhibit from May 23 through June 30 at the art museum.  This is a very special exhibit because it features the crafts of our very own Trigg Counitans.  The exhibitors either live in Trigg County now, or have lived here in the past.  "It never ceases to amaze me how many talented people we hve in our county," said Dr. Davis, museum administrative assistant.  "it is such a pleasure that so many people are willing to share their work."  Many different types of crafts will be exhibited and some will be for sale.  Item that are purchased may not be removed until the end of the exhibit.

Everyone is invited to attend the formal opening event on Saturday, June 1st from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Janice Mason Art Museum.  The crafters will be here to meet the public.  Come and visit with your friends and see this fun exhibit.

Partial funding has been provided by the Kentucky Arts Council a state agency in the Education, Arts, and Humanities Cabinet with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.  The Janice Mason Art Museum hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, and closed Wednesday.
