Seussical the Musical Tickets

phenomenal opportunity to attend a historical theater event in Trigg
County. The opening of Seussical the musical is fast approaching and
tickets are on sale. Performances are June 2, 3, 9 and 10th at
7:00 PM and Sunday, June 4 at 2:00 PM at the Trigg County High School
Theater.
The play combines parts from
sixteen of Dr. Seuss’s books. The toe tapping music and delightful
characters are brought alive by the 42 member cast and live orchestra. This
cast of local talent is young at heart and has an average age of fourteen
with the youngest members being five and the oldest sixty-nine. Portia
Ezell, the director, has led this cast in over 100 hours of rehearsal time
for this production.
Tickets are $5 for adults and
$3 for children 12 and under. Tickets for the play may be purchased at the
Trigg County Board of Education, Trigg County High School Office, Eldora’s
Bookstore, and the Janice Mason Art Museum. There are no reserved seats but
tickets must be purchased for specific dates. If you wish to purchase
tickets by credit card, simply contact the Janice Mason Art Museum at
270-522-9056 and your reserved tickets will be held for you at the door.

This musical is delightful

The play is a cooperative
effort of the Trigg County Schools, Janice Mason Art Museum, Community (
Eldora’s Book Shop, Fourshee Building and Supply), parents, Lighthouse
Family Resource Center, and the Kentucky Arts Council. The Kentucky Arts
Council is a state agency in the Commerce Cabinet and provides operational
support funding for the Janice Mason Art Museum with state tax dollars and
federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
