As almost everyone knows the museum is housed in the old Cadiz Post Office.  There are a few relics still around from its former life.  You may have seen the antique post office boxes remaining in the lobby.  You could own one.           We need to make the museum accessible to those with special needs.  Visitors with wheelchairs, walkers or strollers already know how helpful a ramp to the classrooms or the gallery would be.  We also need new restrooms as the only one we do have working is a tiny one in the front office.  To do this we have applied for a grant and need $40,000 for matching funds.  We need your help.           In an effort to raise matching funds for this grant we are going to "sell" each PO Box.  You will be able to specify your preference of box number and will have your name inscribed on your box window. The PO Boxes will remain as a permanent fixture of the museum.  There are a limited number of boxes so if you have a preference you should act soon.  For our plan to be successful we must sell them all.           This is a one time opportunity as this will be a permanent arrangement.  Special lighting will be installed to highlight the boxes and a sign will indicate these are special patrons.
