Trigg High School and Middle School Art Show
at Janice Mason Art Museum
Cadiz, KY--The Janice Mason Art Museum is proud
to present Student Expressions, works by Trigg County High School and
Trigg County Middle School art students beginning February 4. More than 150
works in a variety of media will be on display.
“This is the first time we’ve had the
opportunity to showcase the talents of Trigg County school students beyond
elementary school, and we’re so excited, “ said Museum Administrator Martha
Davis. “We certainly encourage everyone to take a few minutes to visit this
show; the work of these students is remarkable and no one will go away
disappointed.”
John Jones, Trigg County High School art teacher,
also holds a current position on the Museum’s Board of Directors. “The
partnership between the school system and the Museum is a real bonus in my job,”
said Jones. “Middle School art teacher Dani Knight and I are pleased with our
students’ work and love the opportunity for many more people to enjoy it by
offering the show in a gallery setting.”
The exhibit opens with a reception on Friday,
February 4 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and will exhibit through February 28. Museum
hours are 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday – Saturday and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Sunday.
