MUSEUM OFFERS
NEW CLASSES
A new pottery class
for all ability levels will begin on March 3 and will be lead by Michell Bryant
at the Janice Mason Art Museum. The daytime class will be offered 10 to
noon on Monday and Tuesday and will have six sessions. The fee for the
class is $50 for members and $60 for non-members. There is a supply charge
of $30 for glazes and clay.
A beginning stain
glass class will be offered at the Janice Mason Art Museum on Tuesday nights,
beginning on March 18, at 6 to 8:30 PM. The class will be conducted by
Vicki Karrigan and will be five sessions in length. The fee for the class
is $100 for members and $125 for non-members. The covers the cost of
supplies and tools, which will become the property of the participant after the
class. Each student will make a stain glass piece of his choosing and must
pay for the glass for the project. An average price for glass is
approximately $20 depending on the type of glass selected.
Peggy Allen Kemp
will teach a water color/acrylic painting class from 5:30 - 7:30 on Tuesday
evenings, beginning on April 15. There will be six sessions of the class
at the Janice Mason Art Museum. The class fee is $40 for members and $50
for non-members. Students will need to purchase their paints, and paper
(watercolor paper which is 140 lb. weight with a cold press surface, 15 by 20
inches). Brushes are furnished.

register for any of these classes, please call the Janice Mason Art Museum at
522-9056 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. You must register and pay
fees before the class begins. Classes fill quickly so please call
