JMAM PLANS WINTER CLASSES

The Janice Mason Art Museum has a whole slate of new winter classes planned.  There is no better way to beat the winter blahs than enrolling in an exciting, fun- filled art class.

Mitchell Bryant, retired art teacher and artist, will teach stenciling.  Stenciling is the technique of designing, cutting, and applying an image to a surface.  The class will be offered at the Janice Mason Art Museum on six consecutive Tuesday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00, beginning on Tuesday, January 27.  Fee for the class is $50 for museum members and $60 for non- members.  All supplies will be furnished.

Mr. Bryant will offer a pottery class in the spring if there is adequate demand.  Please contact the museum if you are interested.

There has been a great demand for a follow-up class for students who have attended our first stained-glass workshops.  Vicki Karrigan will present a follow-up stained-glass class which will consist of supervised studio time. Students will need their own tools and may bring their glass or purchase it from the museum.  The class will run for six consecutive Monday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 beginning on January 26.  Some supplies will be furnished.  The fee for the class is $50 for museum members and $60 for non-members.

Mrs. Karrigan will offer the beginning stained-glass class on Monday evenings from 5:30-7:30 for six consecutive Mondays beginning March 22.  Fee is $125 and cost of glass for project.  Participants will make a project of their choosing.
