The Janice Mason Art Museum is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization.  Thus the museum is considered a charity by the IRS in planning for your estate.  Also some friends of the museum contribute stock annually.  The existence and growth of the museum depends on the good will of concerned citizens.

        You should discuss your gifting desire with your attorney or accountant or you may contact Attorney Geneva Parris to receive information regarding planned giving to the Janice Mason Art Museum.  As a member of the museum board, Ms Parris is well qualified to advise as to the most advantageous methods of planning gifts of stocks or other real property.

        The museum's annual membership drive is held each summer.  If you would like to become a member of the museum you may request a membership packet by email or phone 270-522-9056.  You may also pay your membership dues by credit card by phone.
