AQUEOUS
WATERCOLOR EXHIBIT MAKES A BIG SPLASH AT LOCAL MUSEUM
Cadiz, KY. -
- The Janice Mason
Art Museum is proud once again to host the Aqueous USA annual watercolor exhibit
which opens March 5. This is a unique opportunity to see watercolor
paintings from across the United States which have won prestigious awards from
the Kentucky Watercolor Society. This year is the 25th year for the
contest.
The paintings
exhibited at the Janice Mason Art Museum are a traveling exhibit of the award
winners from nearly 300 works submitted from 32 states. These paintings
are on exhibit only in 12 museums and galleries over the course of a year.
This is the 5th year for the Janice Mason Art Museum to host the winners of this
contest.
The Aqueous exhibit
will be open from March 5 through March 20 at the Janice Mason Art Museum, Main
Street, Cadiz. Hours are 10 AM to 4 PM daily and from 1 PM to 4 PM on
Sundays, closed Wednesdays.
"Each year
this exhibit is more exciting!" stated museum president, Paula
Lisowsky. "It is truly inspiring to see these works in person.
To be able to enjoy this caliber of work right here in Cadiz is a real
treat." This exhibit offers something for everyone.
Most of the
paintings are for sale and the public should be aware that a portion of the
local sales goes to the Janice Mason Art Museum. For more information
