Cadiz, KY The
Janice Mason Art Museum is offering an opportunity for participants to create
a festive Christmas center piece to brighten their homes. There will be a
workshop offered on December 18 at 10:00 to 11:30 or until the center piece is
completed. Phara Bourque and Jean Martin will assist in this activity. All
materials for the project such as live evergreens, candles, ribbon, etc. will
be provided except participants need to furnish their own garden gloves and
clippers to cut the wire and evergreens. Please dress appropriately for the
activity. The workshop will be held in the basement of the museum. Fees for
the workshop are $20 for museum members and $22 for non-members. Registration
must be done in advance by contacting the museum at 522-9056.
Museum hours are
Monday-Saturday 10:00 to 4:00 and Sunday 1:00-4:00. Partial funding has been
provided by the Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency in the Commerce Cabinet,
with support from the National endowment for the Arts.
