Stain Glass Class Offered at Janice Mason Art Museum
The stain glass class is one of the most sought after classes at the Janice
Mason Art Museum. The Museum is pleased to announce that Vicki Karrigan
will teach another stain glass class beginning Monday, September 9, at 6:00 to
9:00 p.m. in the basement of the Museum. The classes will then meet each
Monday night from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. for four or five sessions for instruction
and completion of projects. The fee for the class is $125.00 for
non-members of the Museum, and $100.00 for members. Of this amount $45.00
pays for tools that the participants will then own. Additionally, class
members will need to purchase stain glass which is available from the Museum for
their projects. Preregistration is required by September 6 and may be done
by contacting the Museum at 522-9056. Come and join the fun and complete a
beautiful stain glass creation for your home or office.
The Museum is continually planning
art classes for the community. Demand helps determine which classes are
offered and which are repeated. Classes currently available, or in the
planning stages are watercolor, oils, drawing, pottery I, pottery II, silk
painting, photography, and stain glass. If you would be interested in
putting your name on a waiting list for a class please contact the Museum and
you will be phoned when the class is scheduled. If you are interested in
teaching an art class for the Museum please let us know. We are having a
great time, come and join us.
