Glass & Pottery Classes Offered

    The Janice Mason Art Museum is beginning a new pottery class for adults.  The teacher will be local artist and retired art instructor, Mitchell Bryant.  The first meeting will be Tuesday, April 30, at 6:00 PM at the Museum.  The class will meet a total of ten sessions, six on Tuesday evenings and four Saturday workshops.  The cost of the class is $50.00 for museum members and $60.00  for non members.  Interested persons must contact the Janice Mason Art Museum at 522-9056 by April 29 to enroll.  There are limited spaces available so contact the Museum as soon as possible.

    The Janice Mason Art Museum is sponsoring a new stain glass class to be taught by Vicki Karrigan.  The class will begin Monday, June 3rd, at 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the basement of the Museum.  The class will have four or five sessions depending on the time needed to complete the projects.  All sessions will be on Monday night.  The fee for the class is $125.00 which includes $45.00 worth of tools and the participant will then own.  The participants will also pay for the glass used in their individual project.  Preregistration is required by May 24 and this may be done by contacting the Museum at 522-9056.  The Janice Mason Art Museum is delighted to once again offer this beginning stain glass glass.
