Live Big Band Dinner Dance for Janice
Mason Art Museum Benefit
CADIZ, KY-- The Janice Mason Art
Museum presents a dinner and dance, April 30, 2005 at Lake Barkley
State Resort Convention Center. The popular big band, The Temple
Airs, from Evansville, Indiana will be the featured entertainment for
this dinner and dance event. Our own Barbara Dunn of Cadiz will be the
pianist with the Temple Airs. This group is a twenty member band that
plays nostalgic music from the Big Band era. They have been performing
together for several years and have quite a following. Benefit
programs are the only events at which they appear. "If you like to
dance, enjoy listening to the phenomenal live big orchestra sound, or
relish delicious food, this event is for you," stated Portia Ezell,
President of the Board of the Janice Mason Art Museum.
The theme for this year's fund
raising dinner dance is Moonlight Serenade. The beautiful themed
decorations help set the mood for a fun-filled evening. There will be
a silent auction to give you the opportunity to win some unique
items. The museum is a non-profit organization that relies on
contributions, limited grants, and fundraisers to finance the
exhibits, classes, workshops, and other cultural events which the
museum offers.
You may purchase tickets by calling
the Janice Mason Art Museum at 270-522-9056 or from any board member.
