Flowers Needed!
The Janice Mason Art Museum needs your
help. A gardening committee is working on planting the bed in front of the
Museum. If you have perennials that need dividing or plants that you want
to clear out of your flowerbed, the Museum would appreciate it if you donated
them.
All gardeners thin out their bed at some
point. If you are dividing your plants this spring the Museum would like
to give them a good home. Just call the Museum office at 522-9056 and tell
Martha Davis what you have to offer. She will ask the name of the plant
and a little about its growing habits. If you just have one plant or
several they are welcome.
The gardening committee will contact you and
make arrangements to receive your donation. Karen Clement, President states
"This is a great opportunity for the community to help the Museum at no
expense. It will be very visible and Main Street will be even more
attractive because of your help."
If gardening interests you and you would like
to help the gardening committee with the maintenance of the Museum's beds call
the Museum office. Mrs. Clement says, "It takes many kinds of help to
keep the Museum going and we appreciate all the help our friends offer."
The Janice Mason Art Museum is located at 71 Main Street,
Cadiz, Kentucky. You may reach the Museum by calling 522-9056 or through
their web site at www.jmam.org.
